Michael Walker
Mike Walker was killed in a climbing accident with Graham Whitfield and Geoffrey Hargreaves was on 6 September 1976 returning from the summit of Mount Peary, Argentine Islands, Antarctic Peninsula.
Mike, was from the Liverpool district of Maghull. He was a cook on the BAS Argentine Islands base.
There is a memorial cross at Rasmussen Island.
