Ben Fogle fund-raiser

Ben Fogle, who was lucky enough to visit Captain Scott's hut at Cape Evans in November while filming a documentary for the BBC, was so moved and enthused that he has agreed to speak about his experience, and about Scott himself, at the Royal Geographical Society, Kensington Gore, London on Thursday 17 February 2011 at 7.00pm,; door open from 6.00pm.
The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust, UKAHT, has arranged the talk as part of the Scott 100 celebrations, and is managing the ticketing. Tickets cost £15 with the full face value of the ticket being forwarded to the British Antarctic Monument Trust to support placing a memorial in the St Paul's Cathedral and the monumental sculpture at the Scott Polar Research Institute and in the Falklands.
After the talk there will be a small reception when you can meet Ben Fogle and other guests. The cost will be a further £20 and places are limited.
