Alone in Antarctica: lecture tour

Posted on

Trust Ambassador Felicity Aston is embarking on a twelve theatre lecture tour in October and November. Organised by Speakers from the Edge, she will be criss-crossing the country from Inverness to Cardiff, Radlett to Llandudno.

She will be talking about her solo walk across Antarctica. An feat she accomplished in 59 days. Spending two months alone in this extreme landscape, where even the smallest mistakes can prove treacherous, was a grueling yet remarkable experience.  Using her own footage and stunning images from her expedition, Felicity will transport the audience to this last true remaining wilderness.

Felicity raised £2700 for the British Antarctic Monument Trust during her walk and will be promoting the Trust during the lecture tour. If you would like to make a donation please click here.
