South 2015 A voyage to remember

Posted on

Antarpply Expeditions reports that there has been huge support for the South 2015: a voyage to remember and at the time of writing, only one suite and one other berth for a female to share are available.

Trustees Rod Rhys Jones and Brian Dorsett-Bailey and their wives will be travelling with 28 Fids and their wives and partners, a contingent from Imperial College and other friends and supporters. The party will include Tudor Morgan, who has been helping to plan the trip, and his wife Rachel.

The travellers will leave Ushuaia on 22 February 2015 for a 21/22 day trip calling first at Stanley for the dedication of the Antarctic Monument and then, depending on conditions, to South Georgia, Signy Island, Hope Bay, Admiralty Bay, Deception Island, Port Lockroy, Le Maire Channel, Argentine Islands, Detaille Island, The Gullet, Rothera Station, Horseshoe Island and Stonington Island.
