The blog that Sandi Rhys Jones wrote whilst on the voyage to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Antarctica organised by the Trust in February and March this year has been published in book form by lulu.com.

This lively account, illustrated with stunning photographs, tells the story of the Antarctic voyage to mark the dedication of the southern part of the British Antarctic Monument in Stanley, Falkland Islands and to visit the places in the Antarctic Peninsula where those who died in the pursuit of science lived and worked. The voyagers included relatives of the lost and many Fids (those who worked for British Antarctic Survey and its predecessor the Falkland Island Dependency Survey). The voyage began in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, and continued from the Falklands to South Georgia, Signy Island, Hope Bay, Port Lockroy, Lemaire Channel, Argentine Islands, Horseshoe Bay, Rothera and Stonington (68.11 South), returning northwards via Paradise Bay, Deception Island and the notorious Drake Passage.
